ADVERTISEMENT
Invitation for proposals from reputed NGOs/Voluntary Organization from Sikkim for setting up and running 24x7 Suicide Prevention and Crisis Centre with Telephone Hotlines in Gangtok.
Proposals are invited from reputed registered NGOs/Voluntary Organisation from Sikkim having experience of at least three years in the Health Sector to set up and run a 24x7 Suicide Prevention and Crisis Centre with a Telephone Hotline in the premises of STNM Hospital, Gangtok.
Details regarding terms and conditions can be downloaded from the NRHM website (www.nrhmsikkim.org) or can be collected from the NCD cell, Convoy Ground, Tadong. Proposals along with supporting documents must reach the undersigned by 15th September 3.00 pm. Proposals received after the due date and time will not be considered. Following receipt of the forms, shortlisted NGOs will be asked to make a presentation for selection committee on a date which will be communicated.
The Health Care, Human Services & Family Welfare Department reserves the right to reject any proposal without assigning any reason whatsoever.

The eligibility criteria, educational qualifications and job description are as under:-
1. Candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age of the candidate must be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years, as on the date of publication of this employment notice.
3. Qualification:
i. System Officer: B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA in computer app./ Engineering or Information Technology OR Masters Degree in Physics/ Maths/ statistics operation research with first class or at least 60% OR B.SC (Computer Science or IT)/BCA/B.Sc in Physics/Maths/Statics/ Operations Research/ Computer Science with either Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Computer Application from a Govt. Recognized university/ institution.
4. Job Description:-
i. System Officer: To assist the District & Taluk level project supervision committees in system administration and management.
Manage ICT infrastructure such as computers, scanners, printers, LAN, internet connectivity, communication equipment such as switches, routers, modems wifi, etc. interaction with vendors for maintaining and supporting the equipment, Installation of OS, Office tools customized application, etc. assistance in training Judges and court staff. Such other technical support duties assigned by the High Court from time to time.

EMPLOYMENT NOTICE
Applications are invited from eligible local candidates for filling up one post of Assistant Registrar (Group ‘B’) on purely temporary basis in the Establishment of the High Court of Sikkim, in the pay band and grade pay of Rs.9300-34,800 + 5000, plus other allowances as admissible under the rules from time to time.
The eligibility criteria are as under:-
1. The candidates should possess LL.B degree from a recognized university.
2. The minimum and maximum age-limit for the above post is 18 years and 30 years respectively, as on 31.10.2013. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedules Tribe and Other Backward Classes, the upper age-limit relaxation shall be the same as prescribed by the State Government for entry into similar service for such candidates.
3. The applicant will be required to sit for a written test and viva-voce.
4. Subject/Syllabus for competitive examination shall consist of:-
First Sitting from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
(a) Law 150 marks 2 hours.
Syllabus:-
Paper – I
Law: Cr.P.C. 1973; C.P.C 1908; Indian Penal Code, 1860; Evidence Act, 1972; Limitation Act, 1963 and Constitutional Law.
Second Sitting from 12:00 noon to 02:00 p.m.
(a) General Knowledge 100 marks 2 hours
(b) English 50 marks 2 hours.
5. Candidates applying for the above post should submit the attested copies of the following testimonials/documents along with the duly filled up application form:-
(i) Birth Certificate
(ii) SSC/Certificate of Identification.
(iii) Class X, XII passed Certificates.
(iv) LL.B. Certificate
(v) Employment Card.
5. Candidates fulfilling the above conditions may apply for the post along with the supporting documents duly attested, to the undersigned. Applications received without supporting documents will be summarily rejected. The last date for the receipt of applications is 31.10.2013.
6. Those who are already in Government services shall apply through proper channel.
7. Candidates found eligible on scrutiny of the applications shall be called for written test and those who qualify in the written test will have to appear for viva-voce.
8. No individual calling letters will be issued to the eligible candidates for appearing in the written test/interview. However, once the date of written test/interview is fixed, the same will be notified in the local newspaper.
9. The Registry of the High Court of Sikkim reserves the right to accept or reject any application, with or without assigning any reason thereof.
10. The eligibility criteria prescribed in the Sikkim Government Establishment Rules, 1974 for recruitment/appointment to the Government service shall be applicable.
11. Applications should be submitted in the prescribed form which is available in the Establishment Section of the High Court of Sikkim from 01.10.2013 to 31.10.2013.
12. No T.A./D.A. will be paid for appearing at the interview.
