EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

Applications are invited for the following posts on contract basis from local candidate for one year initially (with option of extension) under State Level Nodal Agency for Integrated Watershed Management Plan.

4.	Programmer (Livelihood)	01	MBNA or Masters/PG Diploma in Ruralk Development preferably with five years experience in implementation of Livelihood Programmes, work experience in poverty elevation programme.	Rs. 18.000/-	Gangtok.
5.	Technical Expert (T.E)	04	M.sc. Agri/Horti/ Soil Science/Soil Eng/Animal Husbandry M.V.Sc. from recognized institute.	Rs. 16,000/-	One in each district.
6.	Technical Expert (IT)	01	B. Tech (IT or computer science) preferably MCA or M. Tech equivalent from recognized Institute with full knowledge of Computer applications.	Rs.16,000/-	Gangtok.
7.	GIS Expert	01	M.sc. (GIS/M.Sc.(IT) (Remote Sensing) Diploma in GIS/Remote Sensing with technical knowledge of GIS tools-Arc Info, Open GIS tools, Digital Image Analysis.	Rs. `16,000	Gangtok.
8.	Accountant	06	B.Com (Hons) with 55% or B.Com Pass course with 60% Marks and preferably 5 years experience /practice under any Chartered Accountant empanelled in the Finance, Revenue and Expd Dept.	Rs. 12,000	One in each district
9.	Office Assistant	02	B.Com Hons. BA.Hons. with 55% marks or B.Com/BA Pass Course with 60% marks.	Rs. 8,5,00/-	Gangtok.
10.	Data Entry Operator	03	Diploma in Computer Application and with experience and knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, On-Line Data Entry, etc.	Rs.8,5,00/-	One in each District.

1. Further 2 candidates will be sponsored for Diploma Course in Watershed Management from IGNOU by DoLR Govt. of India. Candidates should be at least class XII pass with 60% marks in Science subjects. Stipend of Rs. 12,000/- pm will be paid for one year by DoLR.
2. Qualification can be relaxed for the relevant post, in case of non availability of candidates with requisite qualification.
3. Posts are purely on temporary basis with consolidated pay initially for one year. On satisfactory performance the term can be extended on yearly basis (posts co- terminus with the project)
4. Preference will be given to the candidates having Diploma in Watershed Management Course or experience in Project Works.
5. The nature of job for the post of Sl. No. 1-4 above warrants frequent field visits to remote areas even outside the state with farmers and the Watershed Committee for exposure visit and short term training course in the designated training Institute.
6. The selection of the candidates will be through procedure to be decided by the Department.

8. No application will be entertained after 3.00 PM of 04.03.2011. Date of exam/interview will be notified on the website of the Department.
